After some extensive preparation on the Drift Cars, we finally took them out to Irwindale to shakedown the cars before the Formula Drift Season Finale at Irwindale Speedway. Along with the Gruppe S Team, Paul Jho of Hankook Tire and the Head European Engineers at KW Suspension came out to help fine tune the competition cars in preparation for this coming final event.
After spending time with giving feedback to the KW Engineers the drivers gave rave reviews on the feedback and the performance of the KW Coilovers on both the Hankook Tire / Gruppe S 350z and the Gruppe-s / Hankook Tire Subaru WRX STi. Heres a clip of some in car footage of Eric O'Sullivan drifting around the high speed Irwindale Course.

One of our Customers just picked up some some Weds Sports for his S13. These wheels are one-off custom wheels, and seriously this guy has guts and soon the most Gangster Flush S13's on the Planet.

Gruppe-S 3rd Place Unlimited AWD Class Win @ Redline Time Attack

Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch set the stage for the semi final event of the Redline Time Attack Series. The Gruppe S Team took off to the track late Friday night and began prepping for the long weekend. The team worked hard all weekend to make sure it was a good race, and with Dez's spirited driving style and Hankook Racing Slicks they secured the 3rd Place Win in the Unlimited AWD Class.

This Lancer Evolution X is a long term project car for one of our customers and is stock other than a Greddy TiC Exhaust System. We tuned the car on a Mustang AWD Floor Dyno.
The baseline run for the car was:
248 WHP
246 lb/tq
After being tuned by Dynamic Autosport's Jason the final numbers were:
280 WHP
298 lb/tq
Total Gain: 32 Whp and 52 lb/tq. Tuning at Gruppe S is $150 an hour and we are available for appoinments.
